Camposition Inc. (founded July 2006) is a 501 (c) 3 - non-profit multidisciplinary collaborative that pushes the boundary between contemporary performance and activism. Camposition’s professional and student artists take creative risks by crafting innovative, artistically demanding live performances, interactive outreach programs, peformance interventions and professional development trainings through the creation of socially conscious physical and visual theater to challenge both artists and audiences with new ways of seeing, representing and responding to contemporary life.


What we do...

Camposition co-presents live theatrical productions primarily at the Carnival Center for the Performing Arts in Miami, FL and tours it’s repertory projects throughout the US, South America & Europe.
Camposition manges an art/rehearsal space & informal performance venue at the Historic Edificio Jose Marti, 801 SW 3rd Ave (2nd Floor) Little Havanna, FL 33130. The space provides artist studios and affordable rehearsal/performance space for emerging, mid career and established artists for performances, lectures, multimedia projects, special events and rehearsals.
Camposition provides guerilla style street performance through Project Desire Miami, a public health awareness initiative in collaboration with Pridelines Youth Services serving GLBTQ Youth.
Camposition’s provides an interactive outreach program for teens at the Carnival Center for the Performing Arts called 305 LIVE.
Camposition’s provides multidisciplinary professional development trainings through The Field/ New York and performance training for mid-career and established artists with Octavio Campos and Michael Yawney.
Camposition creates special events and performances for festivals, corporate events, fundraisers and more.
