2013 - INSPIRING ACTION |
|
Camposition begins 2013 with loads of gratitude. Artistic Director Octavio Campos has been busy traveling again to Australia and was fortunate to create a new work entitled BLOOD LAWS in collaboration with Lisa Minett at the National Institute of Dramatic Art in September of 2012. Directly after that he was fortunate to work once again with Stephanie Ansin and Fernando Calzadilla on an adaptation of Chekov's "Three Sisters" at the Miami Theater Center. Octavio Campos has been recently given the title of resident artist in this multidisciplinary space where a rich offering of performances for adults and young audiences, trainings for professionals and non-professionals and films will be offered. For those that wish to train with Octavio Campos he is offering his Performance Lab at the Miami Theater Center's intimate SandBox space. One of the most exciting new developments for 2013 is the invitation by Mikhail Baryshnikov himself for Octavio Campos to be an artist in residence at the Baryshnikov Arts Center in New York City. During this residency in the Spring of 2013, Camposition will reignite the PLEASE DON’T HATE ME! campaign with an expanded performance component. Take a moment and visit our Please Don't Hate Me!youtube campaign and help us achieve our goal of getting 108K likes before the end of 2013. Thank you for being curious and visiting our website. We invite you again to be adventurous and take risks with us in 2013 becoming an ACTIONIST, you won't regret it. Sincerly, Octavio Campos Miami, FL Inspiring Action - 2013 |
